Q:  What kinds of printers do you use to produce your digital color jobs?


A:  At Joseph Merritt, we have two different types of color printers that we use to get your print job done. The first is the 4 color process Xerox iGen3 Digital color press, which can produce up to 100 full color pages a minute and has variable print capabilities that allow us to customize each copy for you. We also use the Konica Minolta 8031 Digital Color Printer, which can use either copy glass or digital file to produce crisp, high-quality color copies.

A:  At Joseph Merritt, we can help you with your finishing needs. We have the challenge cutter, for precision trimming, an automated folder for fast, efficient folding, and a high speed booklet maker which collates, folds, stitches and trims up to 4050 books an hour. We can also assist with bindery needs such as GBC and Wire-o binding, 3 hole drilling, Accobind, Unibind, fulfillment and shrinkwrap.

 

Q:  What kinds of printers do you use to produce your digital black & white jobs?


A:  At Joseph Merritt, we have two different types of black & white printers that we use to get your print job done. The first are the Kodak Digimaster 9150 and 9110 production printers. These printers operate at speeds as high as 150 ppm with 600 x 600 DPI and 256 grayscale for high quality reproduction. The 9150 series contains in-line booklet makers to efficiently provide booklet finishing processes. We also use the Canon IR 105 Printer, which has a scanning capability of 80 ppm in addition to 600 x 600 DPI and 256 grayscale.
